FAQs

What should I bring to the event?

Hillfest is an outdoor event, so bring your blankets or chairs for seating. Festival is rain or shine, so plan accordingly.
No tents are allowed.

Can I bring my own food in?

Food vendors will be on site, but you are welcome to bring in your own food.  No alcohol allowed.  Trash cans will be placed around the venue for your use.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Either bring your printed ticket that shows the barcode or show your barcode on your smartphone at check in. Consider downloading the iTickets or Eventbrite app to access your barcode, or bring it up in your email prior to the venue. Cell service is sketchy at the venue and there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to access your barcode last minute.

Once you purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email from the ticket organizer on behalf of Hillfest.

IMPORTANT: If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you still do not see your order confirmation, contact the ticket organizer.

GATE TICKET PURCHASE IS CASH ONLY.

Will I need money at HILLFEST?

Most merchandise vendors accept debit/credit cards for shopping.  However, several of the food vendors are cash only.

If you pay at the Gate for tickets, it is CASH ONLY.

Are restrooms available on site?

Portable toilets will be at the festival site.

Why the $5 parking fee?

We encourage carpooling because of limited parking space. The venue is located in the hills of the Monadnock Region and we want to be sensitive to the neighbors of the area. Carpooling means less traffic.  You’ll notice the cost of a parking fee purchase is actually higher because of fees.  If you don’t want to worry about cash at the gate, feel free to purchase this way, otherwise it is $5 CASH ONLY at the gate.

Is there cell service?

Cell service is sketchy at best.  We are working on a cell booster, but cannot guarantee service.  In case of emergency there will be security officers, staff and EMTs on duty.  The town of New Ipswich is aware of this event and will be ready to respond if necessary.
